Our Urgent Care Centre provides care for non-life threatening illness and injury.
The Centre is open 7 days a week from 8am – 6pm and provides a walk-in service.
We are located at 105 – 107 Tarbert Street, Alexandra.
You do not need a referral and you do not need to be enrolled with us
- This service is available to all residents in Central Otago as well as visitors to the region
- Visitors / non-enrolled patients are welcome
- There is a fee for this service. HealthCentral enrolled patients pay reduced fees (including on weekends)
- The Centre is for non-life threatening illness & injury. In an emergency please call 111

- Sports injuries
- Falls
- Coughs, colds, ear infections
- Urinary tract Infections
- Cuts, scrapes, grazes
- Allergic reactions
- Non-life threatening illness & injury
How to Access the Urgent Care Centre
The Centre is located at 105 – 107 Tarbert Street, Alexandra.
It is open from 8am-6pm, 7 days a week.
Present to the main entrance of HealthCentral, 105-107 Tarbert Street, Alexandra.
The Urgent Care Centre is located on the ground floor.
Please walk in and report to the front desk.
You do not need an appointment and will be triaged by a member of our team.
Outside of 8am-6pm, you can access after hours urgent care by calling the practice on (03) 440 0295. Your call will divert to an after hours service to be triaged and arrange for you to be seen, if appropriate.
